A Garden of Angels in Raymond Park
You can still order stepping stones for the memory garden located in Raymond Park, designed for meditation and remembrance
for parents and families who have lost children to miscarriage, stillbirth, accidents and disease.
Anyone can dedicate a stone in memory of a lost child. The cost to do so is $25.00.

Westchester Congregational Church Sunday School Classes will begin on
Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 10:AM.
Classes will include preK to Grade 8.
Confirmation classes for grade 8 and over will begin after January 2012.
Students may register on Sept 18, or at any time there after.

Announcing a new, effortless, "free" fundraiser.
Goodsearch.com is a search engine on the internet (similar to Google or Yahoo!), where you can designate a non-profit organization
to receive approximately $.01 for each search. If many people do this, the money will add up over time. For example, the youth group
of a local church has started this program and earns approximately $100. per month! There are ways to establish this as your
"default" search engine, and there is even a toolbar that you can add to your internet browser.
Westchester Congregational Church is now listed as one of the participating organizations.
You only have to designate the church once, and it will remain as your default recipient. Then, just search as you normally would do.
There is also a component where percentages of online shopping purchases will also be donated to the church. Most of these range from 1% to 9%,
depending on the merchant, andalmost every store you can imagine participates. For example, an outfit you might purchase anyway
at Landsend.com, which costs $50., will earn $2.00 for the church, while something like a new computer through Dell.com could earn $20.00.
You can even book a vacation through Expedia.com, which would likely net even more for the church&emdash;all this while making a purchase
you had planned to make anyway. As long as you access the store's website through the "Goodshop" portion of Goodsearch.com,
the donation will happen automatically. Details on both programs can be found at their website. I learned about this program through a trusted friend,
and I have since found out that several local churches and schools also participate with this program.

THERE IS COFFEE HOUR EVERY SUNDAY AFTER THE
WORSHIP SERVICE. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO VISIT
WITH OLD FRIENDS AND MAKE NEW ONES.
FAMILIES ARE NEEDED TO PROVIDE REFRESHMENTS
AND MAKE COFFEE EACH WEEK. THERE IS A SIGN-UP SHEET
ON THE UPSTAIRS BULLETIN BOARD IF YOU CAN HELP.
